Yes, I agree that the late Prof. James Penton produced one of the best scholarly work on the history of the JWs. I have also read A Separate Identity: Organizational Identity Among Readers of Zion’s Watch Tower: 1870-1887 by Schulz and de Vienne. Right now, I’m more focused on finding out who has the largest collection of books and documents from this organization and who is considered among scholars as the authority on this topic.

Not yet - this was a discussion about who are the JWs (history), how we became witnesses, the history of the JWs in Malta, how my father became a witness in Australia and went to Malta in 1974. Our childhood and teenage years. How we became active in this organization. (Special Pioneer & Elder) our Crisis of Conscience and waking up. Accused of apostasy and disassociating ourselves in 1994 as a family and others. The mandatory shunning etc….

this was distributed with all the parishioners.. i would like to know if others countries had this in place before the 1980s especially maybe italy and ireland?.

If you see the “Shepherd The Flock of God” October 2022 - Chapter 8 paragraph 38 (Announcement of Deletion) it states the following: Announcements of deletion, including those because of resignations, should read as follows: “Brother [name of person] is no longer serving as an elder (a ministerial servant).”
The announcement of Anthony Morris was exactly as above mentioned.

Hi Earnest,
Thanks for your message. I know who they are as I have been doing research on both of them. I am more interested to find first hand experiences of individuals who knew them personally as both today are deceased.
